Cattlemen Losing Streak at 5 after Extra-Inning Loss to Stingers
|
Toledo Stingers starter Brad Cunnick turned in a sterling performance against the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, leading his team to a slim 1-0 win. Michael Fletcher picked up the save for Toledo, his 1st of the year. The Cattlemen have now dropped 5 straight.
Though he didn't get a decision, Cunnick did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 8.1 innings, until Toledo eventually rallied past the Ft. Worth Cattlemen.
"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant TJ Reynolds, the Toledo skipper.
