Jiménez Sensational for Nuggets
Fans who came to Field of the Middies watched the Rocky Mountain Nuggets and the Grafton Middies fight to the finish.

Rocky Mountain beat Grafton on the strength of starter Félix Jiménez's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 5-2 win. Jorge Garza was credited with the save for Rocky Mountain, his 11th of the season.

Jiménez's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 7 strikeouts in 7 innings while allowing 1 hit. Jiménez, who is tied for 9th in the SL with a 1.07 WHIP, goes to 2-3 on the year with 61 strikeouts.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Jiménez, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."

With the win, Rocky Mountain has a record of 18-25. Grafton falls to 20-23.
