Middies Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
The Montana Pandas got a sterling performance from center fielder Ramiro Salazar, but the Middies still prevailed, 6-5. Salazar was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Their 13-18 record puts the Middies 9th in the Silver League.

The game came to an abrupt end with two out in the bottom of the tenth. On a pitch from Ryoichi Maruyama, Pedro Santos drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It gave Grafton the 6-5 walk-off win.

"I like our resilience," said Santos.
