Elías Slugs Smoke to 6-4 Win
|

Calvin Beck picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-1. He struck out 10 in 8 innings. With the win, Atlanta pushes its record to 8-6.
The most important at-bat came in the top of the ninth inning. With two out, Gil Brown threw a 1-1 fastball to Elías, which he hit to left for a 3-run home run. It put Atlanta in front, 6-3.
