Seattle got a terrific game from first baseman Kenny Webster. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Grafton, 6-4. Webster was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Allen Yohemas, who went 7 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 8 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 6. His record now stands at 4-1. The 8th-place Middies lifted their record to 12-17.

Grafton grabbed control in the top of the seventh. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Stefano Gaddi delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 5-4 in favor of the Middies.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Gaddi.
