Dragonblood Edge Mt. Vernon in Pitching Duel
In a tight game between the Yellowknife Dragonblood and the Mt. Vernon Bulls, pitcher Lesedi Danjuma was terrific on the mound. The Yellowknife right-hander was named the player of the game in Yellowknife's 1-0 win. In 5.2 innings, Danjuma surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. Yellowknife, at 34-46, occupies 8th place in the Premier A.

Yellowknife designated hitter Peer van Lochem helped the Dragonblood go up, 1-0, in the bottom of the second inning. With the game tied, van Lochem hit a run-scoring single off Mt. Vernon pitcher Will Hunting.
