Elías Silences South Beach Bats
In a low-scoring contest between the Yellowknife Dragonblood and the South Beach Blaze, pitcher Fernando Elías was at the top of his game. The Yellowknife left-hander was named the player of the game in Yellowknife's 2-0 win. Jesús Atencio closed it out for his 6th save. The Dragonblood saw their record improve to 27-42.

Elías earned the win, going 7.1 strong innings for Yellowknife. The left-hander allowed just 2 hits, while striking out 7. South Beach hitters had little success against him.
