Cauldrons Rally For Late Win Over Bulls
The Cauldrons had to overcome a fine effort from Mt. Vernon pitcher Martín Salazar to grab a 4-3 win at Ballpark of Mt. Vernon. Salazar went 7.1 innings and allowed 4 earned runs. The winner was Hogsmeade reliever Carlos Villegas, now 2-1. The loser was Martín Salazar. The 4th-place Cauldrons improved to 35-29.

Donatas Montiejunas found himself in a pressure situation in the top of the eighth. Facing Mt. Vernon hurler Martín Salazar, the 20-year-old designated hitter reached on an error by the left fielder, driving in 1 run. His 21st RBI of the season put the Cauldrons on top, 4-3.

"It feels good to get this one," Montiejunas told the Hogsmeade Bulletin.
