Dragonblood Turn Back Mt. Vernon, 3-2

The Yellowknife Dragonblood and Mt. Vernon Bulls played an exciting game at Ballpark of Mt. Vernon.
Martín Salazar pitched well, but the Mt. Vernon Bulls still lost the game, falling 3-2 to the Yellowknife Dragonblood at Ballpark of Mt. Vernon. Roberto Muñóz, credited with the win, is now 4-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings.
A key at-bat in the game came in the top of the ninth inning when the Dragonblood sent teenager Peer van Lochem to the plate against Bulls hurler Jim Unknown. With runners on 1st and 3rd and a whole stadium watching, the kid controlled his nerves and delivered huge, hitting a double off a first pitch sinker to score 1.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said van Lochem.
With the victory, the Dragonblood record now stands at 19-21.
