Bulls Suffer 11-4 Loss to River Rats
|
In a tight contest at Ballpark of Mt. Vernon, the Columbia River Rats edged the Mt. Vernon Bulls by the score of 11-4. The Columbia River Rats' right fielder Marcos Rico, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Augusto Deleón picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Jim Unknown was tagged with the loss. Columbia has 3 straight wins, Mt. Vernon 3 straight losses.
Also making an impact was designated hitter Miguel Delgado, who drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth for Columbia. For the game, Delgado went 2-3 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
