Cerrillo, Niagara Falls Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
|
Ramón Cerrillo pitched a gem to lead Niagara Falls to a 1-0 victory over the South Beach Blaze. The Expos improve their record to 18-19 with the win over South Beach.
Cerrillo was in the zone all game. He frustrated South Beach hitters while giving the Expos 7.1 innings of quality work. Cerrillo threw 119 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 8 punchouts.
"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Cerrillo told the Niagara Falls Gazette.
