Bulls Jolt Expos with Late Rally
The Niagara Falls Expos got a superb performance from pitcher Santo Velazco. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Mt. Vernon. The Bulls won the game, 5-3. In spite of the loss, Velazco was named the player of the game. He threw 6 innings of shutout ball. The Bulls bumped their record to 10-10 with this latest triumph.

Mt. Vernon took a 5-3 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Dixon Snyder hit a clutch 3-run home run to bring Bulls fans to their feet.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Niagara Falls manager Orlando Batista.
