Plainsmen Topple Dragonblood with Late Rally
|
The Nebraska Plainsmen defeated the Yellowknife Dragonblood, 5-3. Earning player of the game honors was center fielder Keyveat Postell, who went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. With the loss, Yellowknife falls to 1-3.
Postell had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 2-1 fastball from Manuel Torres, he banged a 3-run home run to center, giving the Plainsmen a 5-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Postell.
"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Postell.
