BC Win at Grim, 4-1
|
Put-In-Bay BC starter Enrique Castro was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Grim Reapers, 4-1. Castro was the winning pitcher and moves to 10-2. He threw 7.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up 4 walks. Esteban Ramos converted his 2nd save in 4 tries.
In the top of the third, Put-In-Bay first baseman Oscar McMillan had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 1st and no outs, McMillan stroked a run-scoring triple to center. It made the score 1-0, Put-In-Bay. For the game, he was 1 for 5 with a triple.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," McMillan said.
Put-In-Bay is now 52-21, 11½ games up in the Silver A.
