Storm Come Up Short at Washington
|
It was a good time at Washington Park, where fans came to watch the Syracuse Storm and Washington Generals get after it.
Washington pitcher Arnold Safi did his part in helping his team beat the Syracuse Storm, 7-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Wilbert Williams was credited with the save for Washington, his 2nd of the season.
The Generals picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"Arnold was pounding the zone," said Washington manager Jacob Curtis.
The Storm have now dropped 5 straight.
