The Syracuse Storm got a magnificent performance from pitcher António Muńóz, who muffled the Kennesaw offense en route to a tight 1-0 Storm win at Jets Stadium. The Jets fall to 6-8 and continue their lackluster start in 2027.

Muńóz was in the zone all game. He frustrated Kennesaw hitters while giving the Storm 7.2 innings of quality work. Muńóz threw 115 pitches, allowing 1 hit and getting 9 punchouts.
