Herons shortstop Fernando Martínez put his stamp on his team's 5-2 win over the Mancelona Torch. Martínez went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Hammond in the contest. The Torch, at 34-40, have lost 4 in a row.
