Garibe Razor-Sharp, Shuts Out York
|
The York Revolution struggled at the plate today against 1787 BC hurler Osvaldo Garibe, who shackled them on 2 hits while hurling a complete game 4-0 shutout.
"What can you say? We didn't hit well," said the Revolution skipper in his postgame comments.
"Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow."
Garibe finished the game with 6 strikeouts and 3 walks in an excellent mound performance.
"He pitched real well," his manager said. "Osvaldo made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."
This year Garibe has a 10-3 record and a 1.11 ERA.
