Guzzlers Top Hawks, 5-1

In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
The Galesburg Guzzlers went home winners at Hawks Field, thanks in large part to starter César Albó. Albó silenced the Highwood Hawks, enabling Galesburg to grab the 5-1 win. Albó, now 6-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 10, walking 2, and allowing 1 earned run.
With runs few and far between, the Guzzlers had to seize their opportunities when they came. One of the most important chances for Galesburg came in the top of the third. That's when first baseman Eun-bum Kim delivered a 2-run home run. The home run was hit off Yoshi Minamoto and made the score 2-0, Guzzlers. Kim was 3-5 with a home run and a triple, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Kim said after the game.
At 24-21, the Guzzlers are currently 5th in the Menard's A.
