Provo beat Delaware on the strength of starter Kagetoki Matsubara's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 3-1 win. Juan Sánchez closed the game out for Provo, earning his 6th save. With their winning streak at 4, the Provo Mango have raced to a strong start this season.

The standout performance belonged to 18-year-old Matsubara. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Mango. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the 1787 BC, striking out 6 and scattering 1 hit over 7 innings. Matsubara is now 2-0 on the season.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," said Matsubara.
