Lionhearts Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Highlanders
The Lannister United Lionhearts got a stellar performance from pitcher Doug Freeth, who handcuffed the Asheville offense en route to a 5-2 win at Lionheart Field. The Lionhearts move to 54-40 with the win, while the Highlanders drop to 36-58.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Lannister United trailing 2-1, Jim Unknown jumped on a 1-1 curveball from Brandon McAllister for a grand slam home run, sending the Lionhearts to a walk-off win.

"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Unknown told the Lannister United Daily.
