The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles turned back the Asheville Highlanders, 4-3, at Mercer Island Grounds. Francisco Agámez was named player of the game for his fine performance. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Mercer Island reliever Raúl Pérez got the win, raising his record to 4-4. Romano Martínez was tagged with the loss. The 'W' lifts Mercer Island's record to 45-34.

Agámez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the third. On a first pitch changeup from Romano Martínez, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Screaming Eagles a 3-1 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Agámez.

Agámez told a Mercer Island Herald reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
