Eclipse Win in 14
|
Northville Eclipse starter Zalontae Hillary was in fine form against the San Antonio BC at San Antonio Field, leading his team to a 4-3 win. Northville reliever Jamel Rhoads picked up the win, upping his record to 6-1. Miguel Jiménez was saddled with the loss. The Eclipse now have a record of 42-36 with the win over San Antonio.
Alfonso Grappasonni had the most critical at-bat for Northville, coming in the top of the 14th inning with one out and runners on 1st and 3rd. Grappasonni hit a first pitch fastball from Miguel Jiménez for a run-scoring single. It put Northville in front, 3-2.
"There's no quit in this team," said Northville Eclipse manager Juan Padilla.
