Northern Lions BC Take Tight Tilt
|
Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC starter Ramón Molina was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Richardson City Thundercats, 3-2. Molina went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 7. His record improves to 6-8. Brandon Bannatyne was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 5 of 10 save opportunities.
One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the seventh. That's when Xavier Pérez hit a single. The Northern Lions BC went on to win.
