Yakima and Lancaster duked it out at Farmers Field and the Hops came out victorious.

The Yakima Hops did just enough to secure a 6-2 victory over the Lancaster Farmers at Farmers Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Jorge Cruz, who captured player of the game honors. Yakima has now won 4 games in a row.

Yehonatan Chazan didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring double to put Yakima on top, 1-0.

"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said Yakima manager Craig Walters.
