The Little Caesars Hot N Readys picked up a win at The Pizza Oven, knocking off the Lannister United Lionhearts, 9-2. Starting pitcher Curt Arellano, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Arellano, now 5-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs. The 4th-place Hot N Readys have won 7 in a row.
George St. Clair was a key contributor to the win for the Hot N Readys. In the bottom of the fourth with two out, the light-hitting left fielder stroked a single to right. He was 1 for 4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
