Roper Excels in Yakima Win
A 6-RBI performance from Lenny Roper, who is tied for 8th in the PAA in RBI with 18, helped the Yakima Hops beat the Asheville Highlanders, 10-4. Israel Arant earned the save for Yakima, his 1st of the year. The Hops bumped their record to 17-9 with this latest triumph.

Roper had a key at-bat for Yakima early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and gave Yakima an early 4-0 lead.

"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Roper told the Yakima Gazette.
