Reyes Delivers Walk-Off Win for Screaming Eagles
With catcher Marcos Reyes leading the charge, the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles defeated the Asheville Highlanders, 10-9, at Mercer Island Grounds. Reyes, who is tied for 7th in the PAA in extra base hits with 9, was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Lucas Cobb picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Brandon McAllister was tagged with the loss. At 10-13, Mercer Island is in 7th place in the Premier AA.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Reyes. Facing Brandon McAllister with the bases loaded, the Mercer Island catcher had a bases-clearing double. Game over, walk-off style!

"This place was electric at the end," Reyes said.
