The player of the game was Mercer Island pitcher and Tokyo, Japan native Tomiji Saikawa. Riley Herrick picked up the save for Mercer Island, his 6th of the year. Mercer Island improves to 9-8 as they look to defend their championship.

Also having an impact was right fielder Mike Russell, who stroked a 2-run double in the bottom of the fourth for Mercer Island. For the game, Russell went 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
