Screaming Eagles Fall Short, 7-2, at Lannister United
|
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 23-year old catcher Steven Mitchell, the Lannister United Lionhearts stymied the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 7-2. Doug Freeth, who went 6.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 10 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 6. His record now stands at 2-2. Lannister United, now 10-5, has played well in the early going.
