Plymouth Quarry was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Plymouth Rocks and the Houston BC.
Plymouth Rocks starter Manuel Rodríguez turned in a competent performance against the Houston BC at Plymouth Quarry. Picking up the save was Brian Fixel, his 14th.
Carlos Álvarez contributed an important at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he drew a walk. It was one at-bat that helped send Plymouth to the win.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Houston manager Willis Crawford said following the tough loss.
With the win over Houston, the Rocks improved to 47-52.
