In a close game at Royse City Stadium, the Royse City Targaryens edged the Houston BC, 4-3. Royse City second baseman Louis Gibbons earned the nod as player of the game after he went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Jim Unknown earned the save, his 1st. The third-place Targaryens improved to 47-43.
One important at-bat came with the bases empty in the bottom of the eighth. That's when José Vargas, who is rated as the 81st best prospect by BNN, hit a triple. The Targaryens went on to win.
