Plymouth right-hander Tom Rosas pitched his team to victory over the Pure Michigan Great Lakers at Plymouth Quarry. The final score was 3-2. Rosas, now 10-4, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 2, walking 0, and allowing 1 earned run. The 4th-place Rocks improved to 42-40.
Plymouth took a 3-2 lead on Andrew Weeks's 70th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Weeks hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Pure Michigan pitcher Martín Flores shaking his head.
