Mojica goes 4-for-4 as BC Squeeze Past Gryfindor
|
Houston third baseman Alfredo Mojica was a significant contributor in his team's 8-2 triumph over the Gryfindor Braves. He was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Houston. Millard Taylor picked up the win with 6.2 innings of work. He allowed no earned runs on 3 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 4-7. Houston, at 36-41, sits in 7th place in the Premier AAA.
One important at-bat came with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the fifth, when Mojica hit a 3-run home run. The BC went on to win.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Houston manager Willis Crawford. "Our pregame was pretty good."
