BC Pin 4-3 Loss on Great Lakers

The Houston BC picked up a win at Houston Park, knocking off the Pure Michigan Great Lakers, 4-3. Starting pitcher Art Adams was an essential part of his team's success. Adams picked up the win for Houston, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 11 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. Jamie Scott, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 10th save.
Alfredo Rivera had a clutch at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the sixth for the BC. Coming up with the bases loaded and Houston trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run double.
"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Adams said (again).
