Getting an impressive start from Bryan Palmer, Houston beat Milton by the score of 2-0. Palmer went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 4, and struck out 0. His record improves to 6-2. Jamie Scott earned the save for Houston, his 6th.
Jesús Villalba took Santiago Mesa deep with one out in the top of the fourth. On a 1-2 sinker, Villalba drilled a 2-run home run to left. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put Houston on top, 2-0.
"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Villalba told the Houston News.
The BC go to 23-22, putting them 5th in the Premier AAA.
