"Getting ahead of the hitters is the key," said Pittman.
Richardson City Thundercats starter Alec Pittman turned in an exceptional performance against the Athletic Club KC at Athletics Park, resulting in a Richardson City win, 2-1. With the win, Richardson City goes to 48-36, while the Athletic Club KC fall to 40-44.
One impactful at-bat came in the top of the fifth inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the batter, Eduardo Álvarez, hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 2-1, Richardson City, and helped them go on to win.
"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Álvarez.
