Great Lakers Lose, 4-1, at Milton Corner Tavern

The Milton Dogfish Head topped the Pure Michigan Great Lakers, 4-1, in USPL Triple A action at Milton Corner Tavern. The player of the game was Milton designated hitter António Ramos. Milton reliever Luis De La Hoya picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Jim Unknown was saddled with the loss. The win puts the Dogfish Head at 15-16, while the Great Lakers drop to 9-22.
Ramos came through with some timely hitting for Milton. With the score 1-0 in the bottom of the second and one down, Ramos hit a 2-2 curveball for a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season -- and a big reason the Dogfish Head managed to win.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Milton manager Wes Murray. "Our pregame was pretty good."
