|
Plymouth right-hander Tom Rosas made an effective start against the Milton Dogfish Head at Milton Corner Tavern, leading his team to a 7-4 win. Rosas, now 5-1, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing 4 earned runs. Earning his 8th save of the year was Jim Meyer.
In the top of the third, Plymouth third baseman Alfredo Méndez had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 1st and no outs, Méndez stroked a run-scoring triple to right. It made the score 2-0, Plymouth. For the game, he went 2-4 with a triple and a walk. He scored 2 runs.
