|
The Wizarding Express topped the Boston Patriots, 6-5, in 13 innings. Wizarding second baseman Emílio Gonzáles earned player of the game honors with his performance. He was 2 for 6 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. With the victory, the Express record now stands at 41-43.
António Boccanegra had the most critical at-bat for Wizarding, coming in the top of the 13th inning with two out and runners on 1st and 3rd. Boccanegra hit a 0-1 fastball from Kirby Brown for a run-scoring single. It put Wizarding in front, 6-5.
