1787 BC Bang Out 6-4 Win Versus Connetquot
|
Connetquot got a terrific game from center fielder Sheldon Deshotels. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Delaware, 6-4. Deshotels was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 3-3 with 3 singles and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Masami Kogawa, who went 7 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 6 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 6. His record now stands at 1-1. The Delaware 1787 BC, now 4-2, have been playing some good baseball.
Dam Son had a clutch at-bat with one out in the top of the seventh for the 1787 BC. Coming up with the bases loaded and Delaware trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run double.
