Rangers Pull Back to .500 with Win over Northern Lions BC
The Austin Rangers stopped the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 5-4, at Rangers Stadium. The Rangers got a big game from Count Dante, who went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. The winner was Austin reliever Weston Fisher, now 5-2. The loser was Jorge Castillo. The Rangers raised their record to 40-40.

Carlos Kramer drove in one run for Austin. In the bottom of the eighth, with the teams deadlocked, 4-4, Kramer delivered for the Rangers. His run-scoring sacrifice fly put Austin on top, 5-4.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Thunder Bay manager Scott Williams.
