Adams Delivers Walk-Off Win for Flamingos
|
The Las Vegas Flamingos defeated the Capital District Red Knights, 6-5. Earning player of the game honors was third baseman Sake van Arem, who went 4-6 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The Flamingos now have a record of 50-58 with the win over Capital District.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth. That's when Las Vegas left fielder Victor Adams, facing Miguel Toro, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Flamingos the 6-5 win.
"This place was electric at the end," Adams said.
