The Kingston Township Legion did just enough to sneak past the Las Vegas Flamingos, 4-1, at Cloverdale Legion Park. Kingston Township pitcher Jon Briddon earned player of the game honors. Briddon went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 3, and struck out 3. His record improves to 6-2. Kingston Township is in 7th place in the Third League with a record of 24-30.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Cloverdale Legion Park crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.

"I liked his command," said Kingston Township manager Rayzor Ray. "Jon was throwing strikes."
