|
The Panama City Piranhas were defeated, 7-4, by the Boston Patriots. Leading the charge for Boston was second baseman Jorge Alejándrez. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Lúcio Sánchez was the winner. Over 5 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts. Kirby Brown converted his 5th save in 5 tries.
