Big Day for López as Halberds Down Red Pandas, 7-4
|
With first baseman Jorge López leading the charge, the Alloway Halberds defeated the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 7-4, at Ballpark of Alloway. López was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Jim Unknown, who went 8 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 9 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 1-0. Alloway, at 49-44, occupies third place in the Silver AAA.
