The Tortolita Drummers got a magnificent performance from pitcher Jim Unknown, who muffled the Ellenburg offense en route to a tight 1-0 Drummers win at Drummers Ballpark. Pedro Figueroa locked down his 11th save. The Drummers now have a record of 42-46.
Unknown, who dominated for Tortolita, earned the victory to move to 1-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 3 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 5. Ellenburg batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
