The Port Royal Disaster got a superb performance from first baseman Michael Riley. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Alloway. The Halberds won the game, 6-5. In spite of the loss, Riley was named the player of the game. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Jim Unknown was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. The 4th-place Halberds lifted their record to 46-42.

Alloway took control in the top of the eighth. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Manny Gonzáles hit a 2-run home run to make it 6-4, Halberds.

"I felt good up there," said Gonzáles. "I saw the ball well."
