Big Day at the Plate for Nahasapeemapetilon Not Enough
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas got a superb performance from catcher Apu Nahasapeemapetilon. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Port Royal. The Disaster won the game, 11-8. In spite of the loss, Nahasapeemapetilon was named the player of the game. He was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Omar Casteneda closed the door for Port Royal, picking up his 11th save of the year. With the win, Port Royal has a record of 29-50. Sioux Falls falls to 35-44.

Michael Riley, the Port Royal right fielder, contributed a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to make the score 7-6, Disaster. For the game, Riley went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
