Tritons Raise Rally Flag, Beat Port Royal, 4-3

Ballpark of Port Royal was the site of a competitive game between the Port Royal Disaster and Jersey City Tritons.
Jersey City left-hander Carlos Medina made an effective start against the Port Royal Disaster at Ballpark of Port Royal, leading his team to a 4-3 win. Jersey City reliever Tom Bowen got the win, raising his record to 4-2. Ricardo Campos was tagged with the loss. Getting the save was António Rúbio, his 8th.
Jersey City grabbed control in the top of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, Brandon Reed delivered a grand slam home run, to make it 4-0 in favor of the Tritons.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Medina.
Jersey City, now 40-37, holds 5th place in the Silver AAA.
